Action League of the Foothills (ALF) is a nonprofit service organization of volunteers committed to serving the needs of the foothill communities.  From the daily operations of the Bargain Box Thrift Shop, to enrichment classes, and outreach to those in need, our members are involved at every step and at every level.

ALF is supported by the Cañada Auxiliary of Professionals (CAP), an auxiliary and ALF Teens.  ALF and CAP welcome new members throughout the year.  New members may choose their level of commitment and after fulfilling requirements and training, can step in right away to staff the Bargain Box or participate in philanthropic programs and activities.

Teens in grades 8-12 can register online for ALF Teens in the spring for the program that runs during the school year.  ALF Teens’ volunteer activities usually fulfill service learning requirements.

For all members, meetings are held once a month with special opportunities on other days.
