Who We Are
Action League of the Foothills, also known as ALF, is a nonprofit service organization of volunteers committed to identifying and serving the needs of the community through philanthropic programs developed and administered by its members. Since 1954, ALF has formed two auxiliaries, established a popular thrift shop, and through sales, successfully raised funds to support a number of programs and philanthropies. Previously affiliated with a national organization, we became independent in 2025, to better meet the changing needs of our community and to focus our efforts and funds on improving lives in the local area and beyond. We are proud to be part of La Cañada Flintridge and the greater foothills community, and enthusiastically welcome the opportunity to give back.
